The BEP EPC project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants.
The work will be carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the BEP project.
The project is executed from a number of locations. Liaison will be required with all the Project team members in the offices in Stockton-On-Tees, Birchwood, Westlakes and Chorley.
Job Description / Role
Senior EC&I Engineer reporting to the Package Lead Engineer.
Responsible for the support to the delivery of the integrated control system. Will be responsible for production of documentation as well as checking the work of other engineers & designers from the JV team and the supply chain. Will be a key resource for the Client Acceptance Test for integration.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Essential Experience & Qualifications
• Degree qualified or demonstrable equivalent underpinning knowledge & understanding.
• Several experience of working within a highly regulated industry.
• Detailed CE&I design of mechanical handling plant and equipment
• Design of PLC based control systems (URS, SIDD, CONCISE knowledge is essential)
• Experience of material tracking systems is preferable
• Experience of system integration
• Experience of FAT
• Supply chain (Vendor) support
• Experience of Sellafield Ltd or other nuclear projects is preferred
• Experience of Commissioning support would be an advantage.
• The ability to obtain BPSS clearance is essential for continuance in the role.
• SC security clearance is preferred
• Familiar with software used by the C, E & I discipline including AMTECH and the AVEVA Electrical and Instrumentation packages is desirable.
