We need a range of skills to deliver these fantastic opportunities and are recruiting experienced Flood Risk Consultants who are pursuing a career in the Water and Natural Environment sector. Your role will be to lead the technical delivery of appraisal projects for flood risk management schemes. This will include tasks such as:
Applying your technical knowledge in the delivery of appraisal of flood risk management solutions, from Natural Flood Management through to major civil engineering schemes.
Proactively leading multi-disciplinary teams to take an integrated approach to identifying and developing the most sustainable flood risk management schemes possible .
Fostering and maintaining strong ongoing client relationships whilst contributing to a collaborative delivery approach and supporting our clients with stakeholder engagements (public, flood risk management authorities etc.).
Contributing to an engaged and supportive team environment with active involvement in mentoring and professional development (of self and others).
Working to meet Health and Safety and overall project quality objectives.
Helping us win new work.
Contributing your own innovative ideas, challenging the norm, and helping us all deliver better solutions for our clients.

The position is within the Warrington team, however there is flexibility around your working location and we welcome applications from across the UK. You will be working with experienced teams across the UK as well as our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teams in Poland and India. We are looking for enthusiastic problem solvers who enjoy working as part of a large multi-disciplinary team. You’ll have experience in the development and leadership of appraisal of structural and non-structural solutions for flood risk management or other applications, and an active interest in the industry.
You will need an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography, or a related discipline and be looking to attain chartership (ICE, CIWEM or equivalent), or already be chartered.
