When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re helping our clients protect our world’s natural resources. Jacob's ecology team is one of the UK's largest most dynamic and respected ecology teams. We have experts in almost every ecological field. The size and experience of our team allows us to work with some of the most respected organisations in the UK. You’ll support some of the largest, complex projects in the UK.
The individual will support the Scotland Ecology team by undertaking technical report writing, data analysis and general survey logistics. The individual will be a bat specialist, ideally with a Naturescot or Natural England Bat Licence and have a good understanding of UK/Scottish protected species legislation and survey requirements.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
A degree in a relevant science or a closely related field.
CIEEM membership
An experienced ecology surveyor
Surveying and work experience in the UK regulatory framework including protected species legislation
Nature Scot or Natural England Bat Licence
Experienced in bat sound analysis
Experienced in running small projects
Ability to write clear and concise reports
Able to produce quality assured ecology deliverables
