The Role
We're looking for Production Engineers who can help us build, operate, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable services for our platforms, products, and deployments. Production Engineers combine engineering experience and an innate drive to improve existing systems and processes, with the creativity to develop novel solutions to evolving challenges. Our team strives to automate processes wherever possible, using whichever tools are best for the job.
We strongly believe in engineering teams being responsible for the operations of their services in production. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers to advocate and participate in sensible, scalable, systems design and share responsibility with them in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing production issues.
Location: This role will be split between D.C. office and a Northern Virginia customer site.
Core Responsibilities:
Handle support and operations of software, including monitoring and alerting, configuration management, and upgrades.
Rollout new products at customer deployments and perform migrations to the latest infrastructure types.
Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure with a focus on long-term reliability and scalability.
Reduce manual operations and automate processes, runbooks, and/or workflows where possible.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation, one out of every 4 weeks.

Experience with Java, Python, Bash, and be comfortable coding and/or utilizing tooling built in these languages.
Strong debugging skills and ability to deep dive into technical problems.
High quality execution with extreme detail orientation.
Strong operational skills.
Proactive and strong written and verbal communications.
What We Require:
Bachelor's degree or above
US Security Clearance - TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 Certification (Sec+, CISSP, etc.).
DoD 8570 Computing Environment Certification (Linux+, Redhat Certified System Administrator, COMPTIA Server+, etc.).
