Jacobs JCOFA Intelligence Analyst, Mid- TS/SCI in Washington, District Of Columbia

Your Impact:

Supports the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) and Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) in the development of Foundational Future Order of Battle data for Joint Country Forces Analysis (JCOFA), Military Modernization (MILMOD) Program, and Analytic Enabling (AE) activities in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intelligence research (i.e., gather data from current OB databases and common sources of intelligence), perform analysis resulting in future OB projections, and provide narrative inputs explaining the logic behind the analysis.

  • Convert Government analysis to the specifics of units and equipment, e.g., add support equipment, personnel, munitions, and unit structure to weapons systems projected by Government analysts.

  • Enter Government and Contractor derived data from JCOFA production into the JACOB database application. Entries shall be in accordance with the guidelines published in the “JCOFA Data production rules for Foreign Units and Equipment”.

  • Conduct review meetings with Government Program Manager, to ensure compliance of Production Guidance.

  • Determine, correct, and report to the Government unintended conflicts or inconsistencies within the database.

  • Run customized and standard database reports (Top-Down Hierarchy, Tables of Organization and Equipment (TO&E) Roll- Up, Unit List), on request to facilitate coordination with other Intelligence Centers and combatant commands.

  • Write narrative assessments and build weapon systems configuration tables in accordance with the JCOFA Requirements

  • Review the database for discrepancies, compare the database to supporting narratives, and coordinate with Government analysts to resolve any inconsistencies.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Be proficient in the use of the JACOB database or equivalent OB database application with a minimum of one year experience using the application and the demonstrated ability to build a futures OB database in the OB application by creating units, and adding weapons systems, equipment, and personnel to the unit.

  • Have a minimum of one year experience using all-source data to analyze foreign forces, equipment, and C3 systems, converting the analysis into database format, and providing narrative input explaining the logic behind the analysis.

  • Have experience running OB database application reports and (ad hoc) reports.

Clearance Required:

  • TS/SCI

Desired Experience:

  • At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Desired Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
