Job Description

Provide program management support to accomplish the administrative, managerial, logistical, integration aspects of the contract. Serve as the primary point of contact to ensure compliance with all the task requirements and the work to be performed. Continuously monitor the performance of this contract, and all subcontracts, to provide the AO with a timely assessment, per the Contract Service Level Agreements (SLAs), of program progress, risks, issues, and proposed resolutions. Provide overall technical leadership and oversight of the contract and report on progress, changes, and issues in weekly, monthly, and quarterly Program Status Reports and Program Progress Reviews.

Typical duties include:

  • Serve as the program manager typically responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations.

  • Provide overall direction of program activities.

  • Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization.

  • Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations.

  • Establish and maintain technical and functional reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and assume the initiative and provide support

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s or comparative experience

Certification Requirements:

  • PMP preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years

  • Corporate authority to direct, execute, and control all elements of the Contractor’s services and ensure that all necessary management, analysis, business, contracts, engineering, implementation, and maintenance personnel resources are available and sufficient, both in numbers and in qualifications, to perform all required tasks.

  • The Program Manager shall have sufficient technical and program management experience to perform all functions.

Essential Functions

Work Environment

Work will be performed inside a large facility. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting).

Work assignments vary based on client requirements.

Work may include travel with the military to participate in exercises in austere conditions

Outside work may include various environmental conditions including hot, dusty, cold, icy and windy climates.
