Our team is improving liveability and wellbeing thru bus solutioning and we are needing someone who will assist on projects from opening game to implementation. This will include initial efforts of supporting/leading client outreach, representing the firm at industry events, supporting/leading business development efforts, developing innovations and new approaches, and be responsible for mentoring consultant staff.
We’ll look to your technical expertise in leading studies, supporting/leading design efforts, preparing reports, and advising on feasibility, cost effectiveness, and regulatory conformance of long- and short-range strategic plans, proposals, special projects, transportation services or ongoing programs providing technical consultation and utilizing technical expertise with a focus on urban bus service, urban corridor improvements and arterial/bus rapid transit.
You’ll grow professionally when you perform work which involves both conventional and unconventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, sometimes with complex features for which there may be no precedents. Also, when you analyze transit service and mobility issues in metro regions to recommend service modifications or innovative options for improved mobility.
Your business acumen skills will be showcased when you meet with reviewers to obtain project approvals/permits and coordination of plan changes with engineers and when you prepare policy and regulation language on behalf of public and private sector clients.
Your technical expertise will be utilized when we have you identify planning strategies using software to manipulate data and assess scenarios as well as perform spatial and GIS-based data analysis.
We’ll ask you to be responsible for presentations and public facilitation then provide representation to governing jurisdictions and state agencies in the legislative and administrative approval of development projects. All the while working directly with potential and current clients to solicit and assess planning and multimodal transportation needs.
You’ll prepare fee proposals, develop work plans, and coordinate planning efforts to support project management. Also direct and review the work of consultant teams.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Substantial professional years of experience
• Direct experience leading the delivery of complex urban bus service improvement programs with an emphasis on Arterial/Bus Rapid Transit corridors
• Knowledge of computer software programs, which may include Microsoft Office, Internet applications, econometric or transportation modeling, database management, or GIS
• Must be innovative, detail-oriented, experienced in highly visible/controversial projects
• Capable of managing multiple, high-priority assignments
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships at various levels and to resolve problems
• Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously
• Ability to provide effective supervision and staff management
• Ability to manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines
• Experience leading and supporting business development efforts
