The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of Stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).
Senior Designer Level CE&I Responsible for progressing the PDMS Model for the Design and Installation of Equipment and Cable Systems.
• Development, for their allocated Area, CE&I installation designs using PDMS including equipment layout, cable containment design and development.
• Liaison with other designer and engineers to ensure adequate space management and clash resolution.
• Liaison with construction engineers to ensure resolution of installation issues and to inform of forthcoming changes etc.
• Following established BEP procedures for model development and control.
• Implementation of cableways within the PDMS model.
• Cable routing using PDMS cable routing resources.
• Reporting status of cable routing works to lead engineer.
• Liaise with other PDMS Designers across the project to ensure consistency.
Here’s What You’ll Need:

ONC/D or suitable installation design experience combined with PDMS training
Knowledge of PDMS Model Design and able to carry out the following,
Design and Model Cable Tray/Racking, Cableways and Cable Routes both manually or via import methods and be able to export Nodal Route Data.
Carry out fault-finding in cable route node data and the ability to interpret results to make engineering design decisions.
Check and resolve any cross-discipline clashes, to interpret results and make acceptable engineering design decisions.
Knowledge of PDMS Draft and able to create layouts, Isometric’s and Nodal drawings.
Provide guidance to Designers on 3D Model activities
A good working knowledge of MS Office Software is essential.
Good interpersonal and communication skills is essential
Essential: PDMS Design 3D and PDMS Draft, AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS Office
Desirable: AVEVA Cable Systems.
